Welcome to Engineering 1

This class will prepare you for the HTML/CSS industry certification. You will have the opportunity to earn a certificaton for Autodesk Fusion. See the following document for the objective domains of the Fusion exam.

• Autodesk Certification for Fusion

You will have the opportunity to earn Google Professional Certificates. These certificates introduce students to IT Support, Data Analytics, Project Management, UX Design, and Automation with Python. If you complete one of these certificates, Google will give you interview preparation resources and access to a recruiter.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in TSA competitions at the regional, state, and national level.

Units

1. Introduction to engineering fields: Students will learn about the range of career opportunities in engineering.
2. Design Illustration: Students will learn how to create technical drawings.
3. Isometric Illustration: Students will learn how to create 3D drawings.
4. Computer Aided Design: Students will learn how to use Autodesk Fusion and have the opportunity to earn a industry certitifcation.
5. Engineering Challenges: Students will design and create objects to solve challenges.
